The chip you want to scan into the app must already be activated. To scan the chip, your phone needs to have NFC technology – which is available on most smart devices. Simply click the Scan New Chip button and hold the chip against the back of your phone.

💡 An activated chip is one that is ready for payment – meaning it already has credit loaded onto it.

Always place the chip on the back of your phone. If your phone supports NFC technology and you still can't scan the chip, try restarting the app. If this doesn't work, check that you have the latest version of the app installed.
